his class hostage briefly thursday,

A jilted creep took a gun and
shot four people in a church the same day.

In Monroeville PA, a couple
was shot to death and then their home was set on fire to try and conceal
the deed.

Every year dozens of people
all over the country are killed by falling bullets...including Los Angeles,
San Diego, Fresno, Tampa, Fort Wayne, Fort Worth, Houston, Denver, and
Phoenix.
Yeah, it's obvious as hell where
I'm going with this. If it's so obvious, why do we continue to shoot
each other? The answer is simple. We just don't care.
Who cares if some guy on
the bad side of town shoots his wife, or that some poor misguided kid would
point a gun a a roomful of kids? One of those kids could've been
yours.
The boy took his father's
gun to school with the intention of being caught and sent to jail.
That way, he figured, he'd be able to see his mom. She's in prison
on drug charges. It was obvious to everyone there that he didn't
really want to hurt anyone. But the possibility of a mini-Columbine
was very real.
In Pasadena, 18 year old
Esly Contreras was talking with her mother and pastor about a man
that had been stalking her for weeks, when Oscar Castillo burst into the
church's office and opened fire, wounding the four people before
shooting himself in the head.
Two of the victims are in
critical condition.
Guns are killing more than
our children, our poor, and our drug addicted. Guns are killing our
humanity. It's the ugly truth about America we try to ignore.
It's the disfunction that makes us seem much less than civilized to the
rest of the world.
Smith and Wesson, the premier
American gun vampire has agreed to a few simple steps to "help alleviate
the situation"...translation: if we slap a triggerlock on every gun,
and promise to explore new 'safegun' technology, we will be shielded from
future prosecution.
The lawyers ate it up.
The get to limit their client's liability, and get lots of hours to bill
as well! Life is good. Unless you've been shot to death. |
