This is the land of the free, and the
doors are open 24/7. The Statue of Liberty invites every downtrodden soul
in the world to join us, become part of our culture, become Americans...without
some sort of hyphenation. That's the way it was until the last generation
of immigrants overwhelmed our entire nation. Even small towns in rural
Georgia have their own ethnic sections.
Mexican-Americans, Asian-Americans, and countess other variations
crowding places where English is foreign, and a burgeoning population of
immigrants live and exist without the burden of reading or speaking the
native language of their new home.
There are huge sections of our largest cities where a white face
is foreign, where black kids grow up, hang out on the street, and go to
school, all without ever having to make contact with any white folks at
all. Then once they're old enough to quit school, they can rob stores that
belong to Asian-Americans who don't speeky the English too good either.
We've had waves of immigration before, where millions of new Americans
worked hard to fit in, and learn English, try to understand the culture,
and most of all, add to it. These people invariably have been very dilligent
workers, and quite often, they've been very successful as a result.
Now, when I go to the ATM, my bank, which I've used for several
years always asks if I want Spanish or English...Spanish is even on top.
There are serious movements to adopt Spanish as a second official language,
Quebec style, with dual signage and other materials.
Somewhere along the line, the idea that becoming an American is
a privilege was forgotten. Instead, now we're consumed with the urge to
be inclusive, and make it easy for other cultures to remain seperate from
the mainstream. It's ok for them to develop apart, and oblivious to the
real world just outside their neighborhoods.
Maybe it's the idea that whites shouldn't force their culture on
other groups, in effect denegrating their native customs. That's baloney,
of course. Look at the "Black Community", which is a term invented by certain
individuals to inflate their influence.
This group of hyphenated-Americans, African-Americans suffered so
severely at the hands of slave masters that even today, nearly a century
and a half later, they need a little extra help. Out of concern for their
percieved inferiority, a group of well-meaning idiots who were white set
up a seperate educational system for blacks only. They're euphamistically
labelled "historically Black"...meaning whites were excluded.
From kindergarten through college, not a pasty face to be seen.
Oh there may be the occasional white teacher, but not many. It's the perfect
incubator for racism. The promotion of black only events, radio, tv, movies,
magazines, clubs, pageants, fraternities, and scholarships has been officially
sanctioned for years. As a result, there is an entire generation of blacks
to whom racism toward whites is second nature.
It's a perversion of our culture that has inhibited many white kids
from developing leadership skills, and pride in their own race and culture.
Instead, white kids today are contantly bombarded with Black music, language,
culture, and the general idea that whites are racist and blacks are victims.
It's an atmosphere that frowns upon open discussion of racial issues
by whites, while encouraging full-time pre-occupation by many blacks. It's
time white people and other races as well, realize that discrimination
can occur to white people as well. It happens every day.
There are racial hiring quotas that are not only officially sanctioned,
they're required under penalty of law. As a result, many jobs have gone
to less-qualifed candidates, fully on the basis of their race. The upshot
is many human resource departments are staffed almost completely by minorities.
If there is a white face, it normally belongs to a female. The white male
is officially fair game.
But let's get back to "Historically Black Colleges"...Barber Scotia
College in Concord, NC is one of them. They're now looking at a devastating
decision against them in civil court.
David Miller, a white sociology professor was fired because of his
race, according to the jury. As a result, the institution was ordered to
pay $66-hundred in back pay and 75-hundred in punitive damages. My God,
that's monumental...a little over 14-grand! Whoo Hoo! Now if he were black,
you could have multiplied that amount by at least 10.
The amazing thing is not the piddly amount of the award, the true
mystery is how this case ever made it to court. Eveyone knows you can't
discriminate against white folks. The school won't give up though. They
don't want this whitey back, so they promise to appeal.
In the meantime, David Miller can count on being painted with the
Racist Brush for having the balls to actually stand up for his own civil
rights. I say he was robbed, but I'm glad you can actually read this story,
because you can count on it being buried deeply in the paper, if it gets
any coverage at all.
You see, it's just not politically correct to suggest that white
people have rights too. As a result, many editors and news directors choose
to keep the information from you. Thanks to the editors of GetDetails for
