Uncomfortable Silence
They oughta all go right back to Africa!!  
If they don't like America, here's a change of address card.  

We've all heard things like that.  I personally do not advocate that sort of racist view.  For some reason, judging by my email and other sources, many of you have concluded that I AM a racist...someone who practices discrimination based on someone's ethnic makeup.  

I take offense at these accusations and demand an apology.  Nowhere in my columns have I represented a bigoted outlook.  The breach of decorum I am guilty of is simply writing about things racial.  That's it folks.  Just writing the truth, which often can be politically rude as hell.  

So for some reason, a few very sensitive individuals have begun complaining to my editor, the website owner, the ISP, and several even have gone so far as to defame me in Newsgroup postings.  For the last incidents, I would like to thank them.  It doesn't matter what they say, just as long as they get the web address  correct.  Thanks to these racial denforcers, more of you have stopped to read this column than any other on this site on many days.  Incidentally, Homoerrectus, another politically sensitive area is normally number one.  

But back to the tar and feather tux these poor offended souls are preparing for me.  I resent being called racist just because I dare to present the facts as they truly are, not as the speech police would rather you read.  Just what are those incendiary facts?  

• How about the fact that while Whites are still a majority in America, they are being outpaced by other ethic groups thanks to racially tilted quotas and set asides.

• How about special programs that allow famous Black atheletes to secure special financing and other advantages for automobile dealerships, with the purpose of selling to another group at a nice profit.  
• Or how about a prominent minority politician who allegedly* may have used his special racial powers to land a television license, only to transfer the operation to another company as quickly as the lawyers could draw up the papers.  
• How about the fact that black students do much better when enrolled with a white majority student body, while they perform at a lower level when in a black majority school.

Blacks do better with whites,   .  
Minority students benefit from peer pressure and higher expectations.  They are driven to do better when they go to integrated schools.  In cases where there is only one race in a school, and even though it is illegal, there are lots of them here in the good ol USA, blacks did the worse and whites did the best.  

So what does this mean?  School districts that allow single race schools to exist even though there is racial diversity within the boundaries of their districts.  Check it out, wealthy white professional parents naturally want the best for their kids, all parents do, they just have the money and influence to make it happen.  So they encourage school board members to build new schools in their new white neighborhoods away from the nasty center city.  

These are beautiful model schools anyone would be proud of, with computers and carpeting, elevators, microwaves, swimming pools, and clean safe hallways.  The exact opposite of the evil black majority center city schools.  Hey I went to two black majority schools, so I can speak with authority.  I am white, but I was bussed to achieve some stupid racial gerrymander.  As a result, I found myself in the minority in a 95 percent black junior high, and one year of high shool.  

Our neighborhood was abandoned overnight.  One black family moved in, and all the white folks except us and our neighbor left.  So even though seperate but equal was ruled unconstitutional, it prevales in hundreds of districts nationwide to this day.  

Unfortunately, all the students in such  situations lose out on the benefits that come with a quality education. In the name of racial equality, we are undermining the very foundation of our society.  

Now, was that racist?  Write me here and speak up.  There is a huge difference between racist and racial.  Learn it, live it, or file a civil rights lawsuit.
