Federalism or Fascism?
The GOP rhetoric over the
past few days has changed drastically. Americans are now being told by
Republicans that we really have no rights under a Republic, our vote doesn't
matter. In their grab for power this well organized party of GOP Federalist
have pulled out all stops to take control of this nation.
They have worked relentlessly
over the past two decades until they have finally succeeded in carefully
organizing an infrastructure of political support in key positions in the
main stream media, Military, Congress, Senate and the Supreme Court. They
are finally in a key position to be able to completely overthrow democracy
in America.
This Nov 2000 election was
a rude awakening to many of just how powerful these anti-democratic legions
have become. There's really not much difference between the Federalist
ideas of the Founding Fathers and those of Adolf Hitler. They both advocated
genocide, and slavery . The only people who had any rights or a voice in
the government were the white elite land Lords.
This ruling class wrote many
laws into the constitution to exclude all who weren't among the elite As
this nation grew so did our beliefs, slavery was abolished, genocide became
a human rights violation and women and minorities were given the right
to vote and a voice in politics. The constitution was amended to allow
for these changes.
The Republic of the United
States was never ever meant to be a nation of exclusion The word Republic
is suppose to mean representative of the people. People choose their representatives
to be their voice in government, they do this through elections where their
vote is supposed to matter.
Saturday, the Supreme
Court usurped these rights in a 5 to 4 vote They halted a re-count of votes
in a contested national election. This partisan maneuver was a slap in
the face to democracy. Now that our constitutional rights have been usurped,
what else do the Federalists have in store for us? A return of the past
where slavery was legal and genocide was permitted and no one had any representation
but the ruling class of rich white Lords?
