Is there anyone who doesn't melt when they think about Mom?  Larry Weaver is a talented singer and songwriter who has a new song called "All Grown Up".  We're offering it as a free download at the bottom of this article, for a limited time.  Since it's a free dowload, Larry won't recieve any monetary compensation for your enjoyment, but you can be sure he will get compensation in another form.  It's a special gift for moms everywhere, but just one warning:  You may find yourself with a tear in your eye.   Here's what Larry has to say:

I was born in Rocky Mt, North Carolina. I'm a simple country boy that grew up surrounded by tobacco fields and music. My father Larry Sr. played for one of the hottest local bands in Rocky Mt in the 1950's called the BeBops. In 1968 my Uncle Donne grabbed a number #1 spot on the Billboard charts called "I'm a Girl Watcher" (The O'Kaysions). Both were lead vocalists for their groups so naturally I became a lead vocalist as well.

Today I am a District manager for a large Information Communication Technology firm.

The song All Grown Up came to me one night as I laid awake in bed reflecting on my childhood.  Most kids are daddy by day and mommy by night. I noticed this as my 2 year old son came into the room, he had a bad dream. Even though he saw me there in the bed awake, he went to his mother's side of the bed and wrapped up next to her. Naturally she comforted him in her arms.

This is the point in which the words started rolling around in my head.  I got up and went to the kitchen table and somewhere around 3 am I had written this song. I will
have to admit, it was hard to read later because it was soaked with tears.
May the memories of your child hood come to life as you listen.

Thank you,
Larry Weaver.
